インドで見たアフリカ; Africa which I saw in India

今泊っているB&Bに２，３日前まで２組のナイジェリア人がいた。
旅行で来ているのかと思ったら何か様子が変。

２組ともインドに治療するために来ているらしい。

そのうち１人の女性はバイク事故で片足のふくらはぎの部分が吹っ飛び、
インドに来て、皮膚移植＆プラスティックを入れたらしい。
ずっと寝たきりだったから、ときどき部屋に行って話したり、本を貸してあげたり。
とても明るい人で、
「I love you! My dear!」といつも慕ってくれる。
ナイジェリア人は敬虔なクリスチャンが多く、Loveについて語ってくれる。
愛は神で神は愛らしい。
お礼にと言って、歌を歌ってくれた。歌詞はよくわからなかったけど、
確かに彼女の愛を感じて思わず涙が・・・

彼女には祖国に子供が１０人、うち双子が４組がいる。祖国の子供たちが恋しくて、
まだ完全に治療が終わってないのに、急いで帰国してしまった・・・

ナイジェリア人がなぜわざわざインドまで来て治療を受けるのか。
ナイジェリアには、良い医者はいるけど良い設備がないとか。
ナイジェリアの医者がインドの病院を紹介したらしい・・・
一体どんなコネクションなんだ・・・
まあヨーロッパで治療を受けるような金銭的余裕はないだろうし、
アジアで滞在費が安くすんで、ナイジェリアより良い治療が受けられるところっていったら
インドなんだろうな・・・

２組のナイジェリア人が出たと思ったら、また今日から新しいナイジェリア人の夫婦・・・
奥さんが心臓の治療を受けにきたらしい。

意外なインド社会の一面を見たのでした。

There were two Nigerian couples in this B&B a few days ago.
I thought they came here to travel but they didn't seem to do...

I found they came here to be treated by Indian doctor.

One of them were injured by a motor bike accident and
she lost a part of her leg.
So they came here to be operated on for implanting plastic and skin grafting.
She stacked on bed every day then I went to her room to speak and
lend a book etc...
She is spirited and sweet.
She always said 「I love you! My dear!」

Many Nigerian are pious Christians.
So does she and talked about love.
According to her, Love is God and God is love.
She song for appreciation to me.
I couldn't understand the meaning but I definitely felt her love and cried.

She had 10 children including 4 twins.
She was missing them so much then she went back to her home
though the treatment hadn't finished yet.

Why Nigerian come to India far away from Nigeria to be treated...?
Nigeria has good doctors but not good equipment and facility.
Nigerian doctor recommend them to go to India...
I guess they can't afford to be treated in Europe so
India is the only place that the life cost is cheap and get a good treatment...

The next day when two Nigerian couples went back to their country,
the new Nigerian couple came ...
The wife will be treated on her heart.

I saw unexpected aspects of India.
